My mom, who is 95, asked me at the Thanksgiving dinner table if I could help her use AI on her computer. I was more than happy to oblige.
So on Sunday, during my regular weekly visit, we put Gemini onto her laptop via browser bookmarks and the Gemini app onto the home screen of her iPhone. I considered ChatGPT, but figured since she already uses Gmail and Google Search, she might have a head start with Gemini.
We spent about an hour prompting Gemini to do all sorts of things. She was excited about its knowledge of history, including her family history, its knowledge of travel and places around the world, and its knowledge of medicine and health care. We used it to draw some pictures, explain some science, and give us some advice.
By the time I left, she was already familiar with and excited to use Gemini and I expect she will. A lot.
My mom is very fortunate that at 95 she still has all of her wits about her and I am thrilled that she has the technology at her fingertips to learn, explore, and expand her mind.
I feel a little badly that I didn't suggest this to her a few years ago and she had to drag it out of me. So if you have elderly parents and haven't turned them onto AI, I would encourage you to do that. I think it's gonna be great for them.

holding only as support to the idea, glad someone is experimenting not fan of the execution, team may be good, but no viable proofs yet. If I exit it would be bcs I lost faith to the project (not related to PA) also didn't take part in the ceremony, invested later

Liked the idea of fees being shared for stakers and for every token deployed, it made $FEY grow more from what I understand
Clanker fork minus clanker team sold my airdrop almost immediately after claiming (grateful to be given $$$) Having been on this side I feel like I have a good sense of what I should and shouldn’t be scared of competition wise Positive that the dev team is good cause it’s not easy to do this stuff But if you come for the king you best not miss. Things that were hard to know beforehand: -They added a special hook 🪝 that meant almost all aggregation went to pools w virtually 0 liq instead of the intended because it needed to be whitelisted - they also launched at one of the dirtiest times/moves in the market, everything was mooning and went straight to hades and then you didn’t hear much about fey anymore
Is it really an *actual* fork? I cant predicts it’s success or failure but I hope it thrives even if that means reduced market share for clanker Furthrmore, (as much as we cherish you) fud coming from farcaster employees goes against ethos of this company and farcaster is supposed to be neutral and not opinionated
I don’t wish bad on yall, also I’m not fudding if you look back I actually said the fact that most of the code is clanker w a few extra steps to tie in the fey token is actually one of the best things the platform has going for it the code is clean af - I was being honest cause I think it’s important feedback or whatev I think the market timing + the hook thing was unavoidable and a shame competition grows the pie anyways I welcome anyone to challenge the existing norms, sorry if my response came off rude cause I definitely didn’t mean to put you down I simply answered the thread
@jpfraneto I initially TPed on the mc that I was happy and reentered now with more supply than I was previously holding. Still Staking All supply and waiting patiently. I was on the whitelist means 400usd to Xs. And to be honest, that was my last 400 on my wallet. Having that said, even until now, for the guys that didnt TP, you will still have more than 400usd (maybe 2.6k?) and yet people still disappointed and some even Fudding😂 I guess everyone wants that 40x ehh? but that will be impossible. Anyway People will say whatever they want even on the green days and more on red days. The Teams intention is good, and I love the general idea of Fey Protocol. Albeit I was also a bit disappointed that it dragged longer than I expected for some of the Features to be rolled out, feels like we have all the sauces but no Steak. I cant control that, I can control what I can do to share/spread news, moreso work for my bags Im staying and waiting for the Features and Builders to build. Even if it feels like like David vs Goliath (in clanker) I think Fey still unique and will appeal to certain groups/communities. One of the main reason im staying is because I also still see some OG chads staying/staking and believing the founders. Another reason? I hate snipers. Yea there might be a good reason for them in ecosystem But I just hate they always win 99% of the time. TGCs solve that, as I experienced on launch day. Having said all of that I have a personal targets too, when to sell, up to when to hold and accept/cut losses. Doesnt matter if I tell you, everyone has different risk tolerance. At the end of the day- This is Crypto. We can have 100xs above or below.

Mamo went from 5m to 60m and held for 3 weeks. If you didn’t make a ton of money in that process then you’re not trading.
I haven't participated in the ceremony, but I have a significant amount of $FEY since I first got involved, all in staking (not in this wallet). I love the idea and the motivation, to the point where I've participated in a token launcher idea created for and by the community. I'm very aligned with it. However, I believe there's zero traction. I'm not sure if it's due to a lack of promotion, or because people don't understand it, or because they don't know it, or because the token's differential value doesn't interest token creators. I know there's a dev team behind it, but I think the message hasn't resonated. I'm sure Vitalik would love the project, but in FC I don't see much interest unfortunatelly
what do you think would lead to something like this having traction? is ownership what people really care about? deploying a token on clanker gives you direct money as fees in the form of weth and the token you deployed. here you only earn fees in $fey. so whats the actual value for a deployer? whats this about?
I’m not sure if it’s the property that matters to people, but when launching a token, I believe it’s important to do it as fairly as possible, by definition of Web3. Launching a token in clanker triggers several hidden fee mechanisms, brutal slipperage, and bot collectors that provide virtual liquidity in the short term but drain a bit more later, right? In my opinion, the real value of a deployer would be to remain in a community that uses its own tools to distribute wealth, not a cool game where in two days the experiment of your meme coin ends.
